1. Fire-resistant Cable Fault Diagnosis
Diagnosing the nature of a cable fault involves determining the type and severity of the fault so that testers can take remedial action and select appropriate cable fault location and pinpointing methods.
2. Fire-resistant Cable Fault Distance Measurement
Cable fault location, also known as rough measurement. Fenghua Cable uses this instrument to determine the fault distance from one end of the cable. Common fault location methods at the test site include: the classic bridge method (high-voltage bridge method, low-voltage bridge method) and the modern traveling wave method (pulse method: low-voltage pulse method, high-voltage pulse method).
3. Fire-resistant Cable Fault Location
Cable fault location, also known as precise measurement by Fenghua Cable, involves determining the general location of the fault point based on the fault location results and the cable's path. Within a very small range, radio acoustic methods or other methods are used to pinpoint the exact location and fault point.
Generally, Fenghua Cable's cable fault detection must go through these three steps; otherwise, it will be impossible to proceed efficiently. For example, without knowing the fault location, it is difficult to detect the sound of the fault point with a long cable path (potentially miles long). If the cable fault distance is known, it is easier to move the fixed-point instrument within a small range to detect the cable fault point within a very small area (approximately 10 meters).
